Also it is a good reminder to me not to just focus on the parts that relate to the Virgin story structure but the actual intent of the movie. I found this aspect of the movie so disturbing I gave it a wide birth. Absolutely heart wrenching and so gritty in its portrayal. Thanks for keeping me honest.

Also, I recommend emphasising that Tatiana was a victim of human trafficking rather than an aspiring singer (not mentioning that fact greatly downplays the tragedy of the character’s background).
